What was the Problem we faced?
Distribution managers who use our software at wefox were overwhelmed with the challenge of efficiently managing customer data, automating tasks, and providing timely, personalised service. They needed a solution to streamline workflows, enhance decision-making, and improve customer engagement. So we assembled a Multi-disciplinary team and got to work.
How did we seek to learn about this problem and creatively solve it?
Our Process was straight-forward:
1. User Interviews: We interviewed our insurance distribution managers to identify their main challenges.
2. AI Solution: Realizing AI could simplify their tasks, we brainstormed with our Paris-based AI team to develop key features:
3. They offered a trained model which enabled us to design the following features for our users:
- AI-powered insurance data analysis
- Automated task prioritization and reminders
- Proactive customer insights and recommendations
- Enhanced customer claim experience
- Fraud detection through ML algorithms
- Deep customer profile analysis for upselling
- Predictive analytics
Outcomes
Visual Design:
- Minimalist interface
- Reused patterns from our internal design system to rapidly prototype
- Interactive elements for engagement
2. UX Implementation :
- Clear, analytical tone
- Data-driven user interface
- Step-by-step guidance through complex tasks
3. User Testing : Refined the interface based on feedback for clarity and efficiency.
4. Launch and Optimization: Rolled out Copilot to product managers with ongoing improvements.
After multiple design iterations and refinements, The team decided on the following screens which were then handed off to developers and tested after implementation.
